Known as third generation of Rare Earth magnets, Sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnet (also known as Neodymium, Neodym, NdFeB, or Neo magnet) is the most widely used type of rare-earth magnet, which is made from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron. neodymium magnet is the most powerful commercialized permanent magnets available today, with maximum energy product ranging from 30 MGOe to 52 MGOe, very high remanence and coercivity.

With excellent magnetic properties, abundant raw material and reasonable price, Sintered NdFeB Magnet is used as an ideal magnet in mini motor, permanent magnet instrument,  electronics industry, automotive industry, petrochemical, magnetic resonance imaging,sound device, magnetic suspension system, magnetic transmission machine and medical apparatus etc.

For NdFeB, if let it exposed, the iron in the magnet will rust. To protect the magnet from corrosion, it is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated. There are a variety of options, but nickel is the most common and usually preferred. Some other options for coating are zinc and epoxy etc.
